Registered charities can apply for funding to support disadvantaged children and young people. The Masonic Charitable Foundation offers two grant types:
- Small Grants range from £1,000 to £5,000 and support charities with an annual income between £25,000 – £500,000. Charities can use Small Grants for any purpose.
- Large Grants range from £10,000 to £60,000 are available to charities with an annual income between £500,000 and £5 million. Charities must use the Large Grants for specific projects with clear goals and budgets. Funds may be spent on salaries, equipment, training, monitoring, and administration.
Projects should focus on one or more of the following areas:
- helping children with special educational needs and disabilities,
- supporting children affected by domestic abuse,
- or addressing the needs of children in early years (ages 0–5) with a focus on poverty and neglect,
Charities must submit an expression of interest before applying. They can submit an expression of interest at any time. Shortlisted charities will receive an invitation to complete a full application.
