Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a grant-giving charity. Their funding is to help older people and other adults with disability lead more fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.
The Foundation focuses on connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. Helping to combat isolation and loneliness and enabling people to be active and engaged.
Funding of between £100 and £2,500 (£1,000 for individuals) is available for individual charities and small community groups. The funding is to help improve people’s mobility, independence and quality of life. Applications for individuals must be completed by a third-party sponsor. E.g. a health care professional, social worker or charity/support group representative.
Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, with funds allocated to those who demonstrate greatest need.
Applications can be submitted at any time.
