Free Training Opportunities through Club Matters

Club Matters have arranged a series of free training opportunities for people involved in the delivery of sport and physical activity.

The Raising Money to Sustain Your Club webinar and the ‘Share and Learn’ Dealing with Increasing Costs sessions in December were well attended, so much so, they’ve put on additional sessions in January. 

Thursday 9th February 2023 is the next date for the Financial Sustainability workshop. This workshop explores the principles of good financial management and the various income models for clubs and organisations. It will be taking place from 7 pm until 9 pm. Bookings can be made here.

  • Introduction to Legal Structures workshop: Wednesday 18th January 6:30 – 8:30pm
  • Raising Money to Sustain your Organisation webinar: Wednesday 25th January 7.30 – 8.30pm
  • ‘Share and Learn’ Dealing with Increasing Costs, community of practice: Friday 27th January 12 -1.15pm
  • Volunteer Experience workshop: Monday 30th January 7 – 9pm
  • A Club for Everyone workshop: Wednesday 1st February 6.30 – 8.30pm
  • Developing a Marketing Strategy workshop: Monday 6th February 12 – 2pm
  • Supporting clubs to succeed – Profession Workforce: starts 17th January – 3 session cohort. 9.30 – 10.30am
  • Helping clubs in crisis – Professional Workforce: starts 24th January – 3 session cohort, 1 – 4pm.
