Community Venues and Spaces Grant – Nottingham

Nottingham City Council has allocated funding from its UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This fund is to improve venues, facilities or outdoor spaces that will be used to support the delivery of community engagement activities.

The funding available to organisations through this grant scheme is capital funding.  Grants are between £10,000 to £24,999 in capital funds are available per venue/space. Applicants may apply for up to this amount.

Applications from organisations looking to improve more than one venue / space can be accepted.

They are looking to fund projects that:

  1. Improve space within existing venues (e.g. kitchen area, meeting space).
  2. Create new, or improve existing, outdoor spaces.

To be eligible to receive a grant your organisation must:

  • Be located within, or deliver your services within the administrative area covered by Nottingham City Council.
  • Be a not for profit organisations including a registered charity and CIC, a public body which delivers or hosts community projects or a constituted body.  NOT a private company or business.
  • Have been in operation for at least 12 months.

The Community Support Grant (Venues and Spaces) will close 23:59 on Wednesday 21st May 2025.

Projects awarded funding will be required to spend their grant award by the date or timeframe stated within the Grant Offer Letter and Grant Agreement.

All projects funded through the Scheme must be fully completed and all grant funding spent by applicants by 31st December 2025.
