An important element of Broxtowe’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund Investment Plan was the creation of a ‘Good Ideas Fund’ under the Community and Place theme. This will enable local community, charitable, voluntary and other organisations to request grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 for projects or services that are in-keeping with the Community and Place strand.
The Good Ideas Fund is available to constituted organisations who can show that they can improve their local areas through projects that will produce:
- Pride in place
- Crime reduction
- Social cohesion
- Poverty reduction
- Support for local arts, culture, heritage and sports clubs
- Restoring community spaces and relationships
Broxtowe Borough Council is calling for expressions of interest in the Communities and Place Good Ideas Fund.
Organisations must be based and operating in Broxtowe.
