Communities around East Midlands airport (south east Derbyshire and west Nottinghamshire) can apply for grants of up to £2,000 for projects that have a long-lasting community, social or environmental benefit.
Applications must meet at least one of the funds objectives which include:
• bring the community closer together through facilities for sport, recreation and other leisure time activities and
• improve awareness of environmental issues.
The application process is now through the East Midlands Airport Community Fund website and is now electronic and not paper based.
The next closing date for applications is the 16 October 2024.
