Formerly Club Matters, Buddle is the new name for Sport England’s programme to recognise, support and champion volunteers delivering sport and physical activity in England.
Following extensive consultation with partners and community organisations, the rebrand aims to broaden the reach of support to a wider range of volunteers regardless of the type of organisation they represent.
As part of the relaunch a new website www.Buddle.co has been launched, which includes tools, resources and details of available workshops.
The name Buddle is a mixture of the words buddy and huddle – to reflect that the website is a friendly, open place to find and share stories, information, and experiences.
