BBC Children in Need – Funding Workshop

BBC Children in Need works with organisations across the UK to support children and young people to overcome challenges. Dawn Watts, Regional Impact Officer, will present on Children in Need’s new programme to fund organisations’ core costs.

Children in Need’s new programme will fund organisations’ core costs up to £40,000 per year for 3 years.

The funding can be used to cover your day to day running costs such as:

• Management and administration
• HR and payroll
• General office expenses
• Accountancy and audit
• Communications and outreach
• Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
• Governance, regulatory, and compliance costs.

A variety of not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 or under can apply.

Dawn will talk you through the eligibility criteria, how to apply and offer guidance on developing a really strong application.

The session will be held online on Thursday, 28th September 2023 between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.
