The BBC Children in Need fund which covers core costs will support:
- Core costs essential organisational and administrative spending. Core Grants stream supports organisations for up to three years.
- Not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 or under which are working in the heart of their communities, particularly in times of crisis, and are putting children and young people at the centre of everything they do, from design to delivery.
Grants of £15,000 or less per year will receive a quicker decision. They will only consider applications for over £15,000 per year from organisations who have registered with the appropriate regulatory body.
Derby is a geographic area of particular interest for the fund as are projects and organisations supporting children and young people experiencing issues with their mental health or emotional wellbeing and those who are or have been exposed to domestic abuse in their home environment.
The Core Costs stream has no application deadlines. For more information, please click here.
