Are things at a crisis point particularly with ever increasing costs? If so, have you thought about raising funding through a fundraiser / crowdfunding campaign?
Many have, and they have found that it has helped them get closer to their funding goals and raised the profile of their work and organisation. One such organisation is Circus Strong, based in Ashbourne Derbyshire. They provide a space where every child and LGBTQ+ individual has a place to belong, to grow and to shine. They provide circus skills classes, and so much more.
Circus Strong have launched a fundraising campaign through “gofundme”. At the time of writing, they have raised £1,920 from 45 donations. They have until the end of October to raise the funds needed to keep the doors open. It’s a critical time for the organisation. But with this fundraising push, they are highlighting the importance of their work, and the need found to keep going.
