Organisations from across Newark and Sherwood are coming together to support our communities to move more and be active in a way that works for them.
As part of this, we’d like to share photos and stories from local people who love Newark and Sherwood to inspire and encourage everyone to move a little bit more.
So we need your help.
We’d like you to send us photographs which show what you like about where you live and how you like to get active. This doesn’t have to be training for a marathon but could be your favourite park to walk in, or the best playground in your area.
We’d love to use all of the photographs you send us in our campaigns but we’ll also be awarding prizes for the most innovative or artistic photos we receive.
We’ve split the competition into four categories:
- Children – primary: photos taken by those aged 5 to 11
- Children – secondary: photos taken by those aged 12 to 16
- Young adults – photos taken by those aged 16-21
- Adults – photos taken by anyone over 21
There will be a £50 Love to Shop voucher for the winner of each category and we’ll have the winners’ photographs printed and displayed as part of an exhibition at Newark College.
Photos can be submitted between Friday 19 May 2023 and Friday 09 June 2023 and the exhibition will be held week commencing 19 June 2023.
Entries should be submitted to marketing@activepartnerstrust.org.uk during the 19 May – 09 June.
Please see below for full terms and conditions.
