Bassetlaw District Council is pleased to announce an online session looking at Sport England’s new Movement Fund.

Join Edwina Archer, Funding Lead from Active Notts for an online session on Teams.  The session will be held on Thursday 11th July at 6:00pm.

Edwina will be sharing information about Sport England’s NEW Movement Fund.

The Movement Fund is suitable for a range of not-for-profit clubs and community groups.  It prioritises projects that demonstrate the greatest need.

It aims to support the development of new physical activities for people who are inactive.  This fund supports projects where people are within more than one priority group which includes:

  • people living on low incomes
  • disabled people or those with long-term health conditions
  • older people
  • girls aged 5-16
  • people who provide care without pay.

It also can support physical activities for the least active in communities where there the data shows evidence of need.

Grants are up to £15K for up to one year of activity.

The session will be held, Thursday 11th July at 6:00pm
