A free, fun, timed 2k run or walk around Maurice Lea Memorial Park in Church Gresley every Sunday morning at 8:50am.
Children can take part from their 4th birthday until they are 14. Children can run with their grown up or alone around our fully marshalled course (with their grown up to stay in park for the duration). The emphasis is on fun rather than a race/competition.
To take part you just need to register your child online at: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ and print off the free barcode that you then bring with you each week to scan at the end (this is how your time is matched with your profile).
We have a warm and friendly group of volunteers without whom our parkrun could not take place. We warmly welcome new volunteers- juniors can also volunteer with their grown up.
