Rykneld Bowling Club is an exciting and progressive Club that promotes participation of the whole community in the sport of Crown Green Bowls.
BOWLING
The Club offers social bowling and (if desired) participation in one or more daytime or evening league competitions.
It caters for bowlers of all standards and all age groups – and competes in the South Derbyshire, South Derbyshire Ladies, Belper and Floodlit Leagues.
It provides free coaching / tuition sessions throughout the season. All equipment is provided. You just need to turn up with flat shoes (i.e. no heels) and sample a great sport in private surroundings, with a superb clubhouse that offers all facilities.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES
The Club provides a range of indoor leisure activities to Members, Guests and to the wider Community – such as whist drives, crib, dominoes, Celebration lunches, live music nights, charity events, horse race meetings and large screen presentations on various subjects of interest.
Whether you simply want to have a go at Crown Green Bowling (socially or competitively) or just make new friends, you will find that Rykneld Bowling Club is a friendly and well run place. Either way, you will be made to feel at home, so why not come and visit us?
