An introduction into how strategic plans can help reduce inequality and increase physical activity.

This Talking Space will consider the importance of high level plans such as the Local Plan, Nature Recovery Strategies and the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and how they can be influenced to increase movement and reduce inequality. The latest thinking on how plans such as Playing Pitch Strategies, Local Football Facility Plans, Leisure Facility Strategies, Move More Strategies and others will be examined and how they can ensure investment is directed to the people and communities facing the greatest inequalities.

The session is designed for Planners, Health practitioners, Leisure, Parks and Open Space Managers, Governing Bodies of Sport and voluntary and community sector organisations with an interest in promoting movement and activity.
