Delivered by Primary Dance Education Specialist Claire Pring

Dance is an incredibly versatile subject, able to develop physical skills; creative and expressive thinking; collaboration and embodying learning in other subjects. But how do you make sure that you have a broad and balanced offer that provides progression and challenge?

Let’s spend a day ensuring we have the cornerstones of dance firmly established and consider how we can apply them to cross curricular work and use them to develop an appreciation of dance styles from different times and places. We’ll round off the day considering excellent classroom management for dance, discussing inclusion, looking at high quality resources (including finding great music) and responding to your specific questions.

And… You’ll come away with lesson plans, playlists, a list of other resources… and feeling excited to get your pupils moving!

Booking deadline Friday 15 November. Places are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
