The entangled web is ever growing…

Social connections

Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club Richard Herrod Centre, Carlton – evolving, more connections – the entangled web is growing!!!!
• A nice turn out – some regulars and some new attendees.
• The councillors were there – the outgoing Armed Forces Champion Bob Collis and the new one Jenny Hollingsworth. A photo was taken of the assembled company
• Val is organising a Veterans Lunch on Sunday 16 July at the It’s Inn the Bank in Netherfield – the landlord there, Murphy, does the catering at these breakfasts
• And I’ve found a new Super Connector – are you ready for this?!!!!
o someone who works for START Reablement in Adult Social Care – linked with their Falls Lead, Living Well Gedling and TuVida
o and closely linked with St George’s in Netherfield
o and an Age UK Notts volunteer Walk Leader on their Best Foot Forward Walks and Veterans walks
o and heavily involved in the British Legion
• so we’re going to see how we can work together with walks, connecting each other, linking Falls stuff in Cotgrave with a new Veterans Walk they’re hoping to set up there, connecting her with SPLWS across South Notts and multiple other things. I’m going to send her the link to the Strength and Balance classes map
