The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundationoffers grants to registered charities as well as to organisations linked to a Roman Catholic Diocese.

To be eligible, projects need to address one or more of the Foundation’s current funding priorities. These include:

  • Amateur sport
  • Victims of domestic abuse
  • Support for people with terminal illnesses / life limiting conditions and their carers
  • Drug and substance misuse
  • Support for people with intellectual disability
  • Care leavers: to give them a chance to succeed on a par with other young people
  • Care for the elderly.

Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees, however previous grants have ranged from £5,000 to £2.25 million.

The first step in the application process is to complete a short form on the Foundation’s website. Those who are successful will be asked to contact the Foundation.

Applications can be submitted at any time.
