Derbyshire Active Carers Event
Hosted by Derbyshire Carers Association, Derbyshire County Council, Disability Rights UK and Active Derbyshire, this event is designed to support carers – both unpaid and paid – to think about their own wellbeing and how moving more might be a part of that. There will be inspiring stories from carers who have used moving more to support themselves as well as those they care for. There will also be opportunities to meet other carers, share ideas and chat to local services here to support you. We’re also keen to use this opportunity to work with carers in developing support for you to be active in a way that works for you.
The event is open to all carers, both paid and unpaid, those who support carers and also to those being cared for and includes lunch and refreshments, as well as a spot of chair based activity.
Arrival from 10am to start at 10.30am and finish at 3.30pm but flexibility for those who may not be able to attend all day.

1.45pm to 3.30pm – Get Yourself Active activity pack training or activities with Age UK and Chesterfield in the Community
