Get qualified in Community Sports Leadership!
FREE training for 16–24 year olds in Nottingham
Take your interest in sport and develop it into employable skills and qualifications, for free.
This course is for young people who want to gain experience and start shaping a future in sport, fitness, or community work.
One of the best ways to learn is to get stuck in. Once you’ve been taught the skills you need, we’ll support you to lead activities in your local area. This could be in a school, sports club, gym, or even a care setting. We can guide you to find the right opportunity.
You’ll build valuable skills for both work and everyday situations, including:
- Communicating clearly and confidently with others
- Building self-belief and confidence
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Managing your time, goals, and personal development
- Spotting challenges and knowing how to solve them
- Adapting your approach to different people and environments
After completing the course, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a Level 3 Community Health and Sport Officer apprenticeship, starting January 2027.
