TUMBLING WORKSHOP A ONLY: Walkovers to Backhandsprings. Level 1-2 / novice / prep – 10.00am – 12.00Am Age 5+ This is a 2 hour tumbling workshop only This Walkovers to backhandsprings tumbling workshop is suitable for novice, beginner and more experienced athletes working towards: -Back-handsprings -Walkovers -Cartwheels -Round-offs -Front handsprings It is required to have some tumbling experience and have mastered handstands and bridges to enrol in this class. Roughly aligned to IASF Levels 1-2 Beginner tumbling is scheduled on 1/8/26. This event is held at a fully equipped, sprung floor venue. Please carefully check age and skill requirements for each workshop. There is a minimum age requirement to ensure sessions are developmentally appropriate. There is no upper age limited and all sessions on this date are open to adults. Contact us before booking for athletes who are below the minimum age but meet the skill requirements for the session. These are coached sessions run by UKTC Staff, focused on drills, body shaping and improving technique. These tumbling workshops are open to everyone. Each session is an intensive training opportunity. Sessions will include a dynamic warm-up, conditioning drills, body shaping and control-based equipment stations, standing tumbling stations and open free tumbling time for running tumbling. Athletes will be able to focus on fundamental tumbling principles (power, shaping, strength) and also work on skills and connected passes at their own ability level. Coaches will be on hand throughout to assist with feedback, spotting and progression tips.
